B+A were asked by NHS Highland and Hub North to support the development of an Initial agreement (IA) for investment in health and social care in Lochaber, in a new Rural General Hospital. Work focussed on development of the strategic case and key elements of the economic case, in alignment with SCIM guidelines, for submission to the Scottish Capital Investment Group.

Elements of the approach

A combination of 1 to 1 meetings, stakeholder workshops and site visits enabled the approach. Workshops involved clinical and operational staff, and key outputs were shared with public representatives to ensure a broad range of views were gathered.
