We were asked to facilitate and support the development of an improved clinical model to support the delivery of Acute Oncology Services across South EastWales.

Following the development and agreement of the clinical model B+A were commissioned to lead on the production of a high quality business case.

Continuous stakeholder input

This commission required extensive and close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders including lead clinicians, executive teams and with planning, finance and operational leads from across our commissioning Health Boards (Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board).

Designing and Describing the Clinical model

A clearly defined clinical model was agreed by clinical and executive leads from across the region

Planning and prioritisation

A phased and prioritised implementation plan was developed

A compelling case for investment

A structured, well-developed and compelling case including Options Appraisal and comprehensive Investment model
